Jielde Lamp
From the late 1940s onwards, Jean-Louis Domecq designed a light fixture corresponding to his mechanical engineering work.
The final model appeared in 1950: simple, robust and articulated, ideal for all workstations.
He created a company to market it; his initials would form the name: JLD = Jieldé
This lamp, called Standard, has never ceased to be produced and to evolve.
The Jieldé lamp has become an essential element of the industrial aesthetic.
